The staff also told us that after the sheets and clothes are washed and dehydrated, they need to be disinfected at high temperature before they can be dried and ironed. High-temperature steam sterilization is fast and has strong penetrating power, which can achieve the purpose of rapid sterilization. In addition, the steam generated by the steam generator can be as high as 120 degrees Celsius, and can be kept in a high temperature state. In high temperature and high pressure environment for 10-15 minutes, most viruses and bacteria can be killed.
In addition to washing and sanitizing, steam is also used for drying and ironing tasks. According to the staff, our washing machine is equipped with a dedicated dryer and ironing machine, and the heat source comes from a steam generator. Compared with other drying methods, steam drying is more scientific. The water molecules in the steam keep the air in the dryer moist. After drying, the clothes will not generate static electricity and are more comfortable to wear.
