The water level gauge is an important configuration of the steam generator. Through the water level gauge, the water volume in the steam generator can be observed, and the water volume in the equipment can be adjusted in time. So, during actual use, what should we pay attention to with the water level gauge on the gas steam generator? Let’s learn together with Nobeth.
1. Sufficient light should be maintained. If it is found that the water level display of the water level gauge is unclear, it should be flushed. If the situation is serious, the water level gauge should be replaced with a new one.
2. During the operation of the steam boiler, flushing inspection should be carried out every day, especially when the boiler workers are on shift.
3. When the water level gauge is installed on the boiler, you should check whether the pipe valve connected to the water level gauge is open to avoid misunderstanding.
4. Since scale easily accumulates in the connecting pipe of the water meter column, downward collapse and bending should be avoided during installation. Additionally, flexible joints should be provided at the corners so that they can be removed for inspection and cleaning. For boilers with externally fired horizontal flue pipes, etc., the portion of the steam-water connection pipe that may pass through the flue should be well insulated. Sewage should be discharged from the sewage pipe at the bottom of the water meter column once a day to remove scale on the connecting pipe.
5. The water level gauge valve is prone to leakage. It will be in good condition if given the opportunity to be dismantled and serviced every six months.
